Sinosteel India Pvt. Ltd., is a fully owned subsidiary of the massive Sinosteel Corporation, a central enterprise under the administration of the China state-owned assets supervision and Administration commission. Sinosteel India Pvt. Ltd. is one of the 76 subsidiaries under the aegis of Sinosteel Corporation. Among these subsidiaries, 53 are established in China and 23 abroad. SINOSTEEL is mainly engaged in developing, mining and processing of metallurgical mineral resources, trading and logistics of metallurgical raw materials and other related products; conducting research, application and service of metallurgical technologies, engineering technical service and equipment manufacture etc.
Sinosteel India acts as the raw material supplier and sales-agent for major Chinese steel mills, some having been entered into long-term strategic alliances. With only over three years of its establishment in India, Sinosteel India Pvt. Ltd. has expanded its business in mineral trade of iron ore, pellets, chrome ore and concentrate, manganese, refractory ,coke and coal . Besides trading, Sinosteel India is also expanding its business in mining, mineral processing and beneficiation as well as infrastructure and logistics. Sinosteel India is coming up with investment projects in Indian iron and steel sector.
As one of the state-owned enterprises with first "Go Global" launch of successful mineral resource projects, Sinosteel has been striving for the exploration and application of the global distribution of metallurgical mineral resources.

Sinosteel India Pvt. Ltd. is also representing Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Company for their operations in India. Their focus area mainly covers EPC contracting and complete set or single equipment supplying in such sectors as Metallurgy, non-ferrous metal, construction materials, environmental protection, energy, etc.
Sinosteel also possesses a global-running sales network and logistic service system. It also provides financing and bidding services for big Chinese steel mills on process modification, Sinosteel consultancy is the only metallurgical company in China that is given exclusive investment evaluation entrusted by National Development & Reform Commission.
